Children's Ministry
Who we are: Our mission as St. John's Children's Ministry is to connect, neighbor, serve by equipping kids, parents, and volunteers to know God and to know what He made them to do!
Weekend Services: Children's Church and Nursery Care is offered at each of our Sunday morning services for infants to 4th grade. Sunday services are at 8:00 and 9:45am. If it is your first time visiting, we’d love to connect with you at our check-in center located at the southwest corner of our Community Room.
Cry Room: Parents, if you need a few moments during church for your wiggly one to calm down, please go to the Community Room. You will still be able to watch and hear a live feed of the service. Nursing Moms: We have a section for you in the Community Room as well, if you're looking for a more private area. Just look for the partition with "nursing moms" on it.

Children’s Church runs the full length of our 8:00am and 9:45am services. Feel free to drop off or pick up your child at any point before, during, or after the worship service. There will be a volunteer at the KidCheck stations to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Kids are also welcome in the Worship Center with adults. We encourage you to allow your kids to spend time in corporate worship with the family as well as being in Children's Church from time to time. It's important to have a balance but ultimately the decision is up to the parents whether their children are in Big Church or Children's Church.
Curriculum
GO! children's ministry curriculum starts with GOD. He is the ultimate storyteller and the Bible has the greatest story ever told. As ministry leaders, our joy is helping kids discover that story and experience the love of Jesus Christ.
We want every lesson plan to be a life-changing experience for kids. Since children are active by God's design, we make active learning a core part of our curriculum. Since kids are social by God's design, we make relationship a key element in every lesson.

Meet Our Children's Minister, Kadie Cleveland!
Hey, there! Here is some information about me! I am originally from Mobile, Alabama, and attended Concordia University, Texas, where I got my degree in Christian Education. I have served in ministry as a called worker since 2013 and have worked with kids and churches since 2010. I love the outdoors like going for hikes and to the beach. I have a passion for sharing the love of Christ with kids and helping parents to be the primary teachers of the faith to their children.
